Changes to Opening Hours
From 24th September there will be a few changes to our opening hours.
The surgery will closing at 6:30 pm on Fridays (instead of 6pm).
We will also soon be able to offer early morning GP and Nurse appointments from 7:00 am on Monday mornings (start date TBC).
These will be bookable in advance only. We hope this will help with the demand for early morning appointments for those patients who work during the day.
We are always trying to think of ways to improve our services, and our telephone system was one of the areas that was mentioned the most.
We have a shorter opening message from Dr Palmer and we have introduced options to our telephone service:
Press 1 to Book Appointments
Press 2 for Test Results - Please note this is between 11-am and 2pm only
Press 3 for Prescription Queries - Please leave a voicemail and the Prescription Clerk will return your call before 3pm that day.
Press 4 for the Secretaries for Referral Queries
Press 5 for the Cancellation Line - here you can leave a brief message to cancel your upcoming appointment. Please note this is not to re-arrange; it is purely to cancel.
We hope this will make telephoning the practice a lot easier and you can save time by being put through to the correct department at first.
We would welcome any feedback on this new service.
