About Us
Lambgates Health Centre serves the whole of Hadfield as well as its surrounding villages, our doctors, nurses and reception team take pride in offering the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. We aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence.
We offer a full general practice service and run clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as contraception, minor surgery, childhood & travel vaccinations as well as free NHS health checks.
The information on this website is for both existing patients and those considering registering with us. You can find out about our services, how to access them and some general information about how our practice operates. If you live in our practice area and would like to register with us, please complete our registration form that is available from reception.
Please be aware that you will be registering with the practice as a whole, rather than with a specific GP. If you prefer continuity with a particular GP, please keep in mind that there might be a waiting period. However, all GPs have access to your medical records and are more than willing to assist you.
Lambgates Health Centre serves as a Training Practice. This means that hospital doctors looking to transition into general practice spend twelve months with us to gain the necessary experience to become family doctors. We also train Foundation Year 2 doctors (in their second year post-qualification), medical students from Manchester University, nursing students, and students gaining work experience.
