Online Consult information leaflet
We are always trying to think of ways to improve our services, and our telephone system was one of the areas that was mentioned the most.
We have a shorter opening message from Dr Palmer and we have introduced options to our telephone service:
- Press 1 for Appointments
- Press 2 for Test Results - Please note this is between 11-am and 2pm only
- Press 3 for Prescription Queries - Please leave a voicemail and the Prescription Clerk will return your call before 3pm that day.
- Press 4 for the Secretaries for Referral Queries
- Press 5 for the Cancellation Line - here you can leave a brief message to cancel your upcoming appointment. Please note this is not to re-arrange; it is purely to cancel.
- Press 6 for Any Other Queries
We hope this will make telephoning the practice a lot easier and you can save time by being put through to the correct department at first.
We would welcome any feedback on this new service.
All calls may be monitored, recorded, stored and used in any telephone, email or other communication with you, in order to check any instructions given to us for training purposes, crime prevention and to improve the quality of our services.
Would you recommend Lambgates Health Centre? Take Our Friends & Family Survey - it will only take a few minutes to complete.
Accessible Information Standard
NHS Digital is developing a new system to support the national data opt-out which will give patients more control over how confidential patient information is used. The system will offer patients and the public the opportunity to make an informed choice about whether they wish their confidential patient information to be used just for their individual care and treatment or also used for research and planning purposes.
Patients and the public who decide they do not want their confidential patient information used for planning and research purposes will be able to set their national data opt-out choice online.
